Rest in Piece is a “Pass Thru” Heavy Duty Steady Rest designed for todays extreme machining, tight tolerance work-holding needs. The photo shows a steady rest designed for a slant bed lathe, and can be designed to fit applications from flat bed CNC’s to manual lathes as well as VMC’s with 4th axis tables. The design allows for a wide range of sizes and the rigidity needed to produce excellent finishes.
